The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that both Chinese and Western medicine should be adhered to and the development of Chinese medicine should be passed down. In recent years, with the implementation of the Healthy China Strategy and the Chinese Medicine Law, the Chinese medicine culture and the Chinese medicine related industry have ushered in a good opportunity for development.
Today, the development of Chinese medicine has entered a new stage. At the same time that policies are promising and industrial development is accelerating, new forms of Chinese medicine are also thriving. The traditional Chinese medicine culture is inserted into the wings of flying and takes root overseas.
New system to help development
In July this year, the "Chinese Medicine Law of the People's Republic of China" was officially implemented, becoming a landmark event in the standardization and healthy development of Chinese medicine. The Chinese Medicine Law clarifies that the Chinese medicine industry is an important part of China's medical and health undertakings, and has reformed and innovated the existing system in many aspects such as Chinese medicine clinics, Chinese medicine practitioners' access, and Chinese medicine management.
In recent years, China has successively issued a series of important documents such as the Outline of Chinese Medicine Development Plan (2016-2030), the Development Plan of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the 13th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine. A strategic industry with unique advantages and broad market prospects in economic and social development.
With the development of the Chinese medicine industry and culture, the national awareness of Chinese medicine continues to deepen, and the demand for Chinese medicine related products and services is growing. Wang Guoqiang, director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, recently introduced that the Chinese traditional medicine industry is increasing at a rate of 20% per year. In 2016, the main business income of enterprises above designated size in the Chinese medicine industry exceeded 860 billion yuan, accounting for nearly one-third of the national pharmaceutical industry.
According to the plan, by 2020, China will achieve the goal of basic Chinese medicine services for all, which puts high demands on the scale and level of development of Chinese medicine services. According to industry analysts, China is currently opening up the Chinese medicine market from the perspective of talents and clinics, encouraging the society to run doctors, and improving the Chinese medicine service network covering urban and rural areas. In terms of talents, the qualifications of Chinese medicine practitioners have been changed from past examinations to assessments, and academic qualifications have been abolished, and sources have been broadened. In the clinics, Chinese medicine clinics have been changed from licensing management to filing management, and the time spent on clinics has been greatly shortened. The growth of the clinic creates conditions.
At the same time, with the opening of Chinese medicine services, supervision and management initiatives are also strengthening. Whether it is clinic supervision or quality and safety of Chinese medicine, it has been mentioned at an unprecedented height.
New business emerges endlessly
With the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Cloud", everyone can have their own TCM health data; with the TCM APP, as long as the mobile phone orders, the fried Chinese medicine is sent to the home... The traditional Chinese medicine and the Internet deep integration, let the Chinese treasures Renewed vitality.
Recently, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued a guiding opinion on promoting the development of Chinese medicine health services and the integration of the Internet. From the aspects of deepening the integration of TCM medical care and the Internet, and developing the Internet services of TCM health care, the development roadmap of “Internet + Chinese Medicine” was drawn.
In the future, the fruits of "Internet + Chinese Medicine" will be reflected in many aspects - intelligent Chinese medicine medical services, using artificial intelligence, biometrics and other technologies to extend Chinese medicine practitioners to the network; "smart pharmacy" The construction will facilitate Chinese medicine decoction, drug distribution, medication consultation and other services; TCM Health Cloud has become a smart terminal integrating health checkup, physical fitness identification, health assessment and many other functions to achieve the collection, management, application and evaluation of TCM health data. The big data research platform will integrate data on patient visits, Chinese herbal medicine production and trade, drug research and development, and break through the key points, difficulties and key technical issues in the application of Chinese medicine health big data.
Wu Gang, president of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Information Research, said that the current construction of Chinese medicine culture is in a rare period of development opportunities. The rapid development of new media and the integration of new and old media not only enriched the platform and channels for the spread of Chinese medicine culture, but also provided technical support for strengthening the cultural experience of Chinese medicine.
In fact, not only the Internet, but also the integration of old-age care, tourism, food, and sports to form a new format. Traditional areas such as TCM health tourism and physical medicine integration are entering a golden period of development.
The new standard is rooted
With the spread of Chinese medicine culture and foreign exchanges and cooperation, the spread and application of Chinese medicine in the world is becoming more and more widespread.
Data show that in 2016, the total export value of Chinese traditional medicine products reached 3.426 billion US dollars, and Chinese medicine has spread to 183 countries and regions around the world. Chinese medicine is gradually integrated into the international medical system.
——The World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies recently released the “Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Diabetes in International Chinese Medicine” to provide overseas Chinese medicine practitioners with advice on diabetes treatment and to set an example for the upgrading of Chinese medicine standards to international standards. At present, Chinese medical practitioners have formulated seven international standards.
—— Recently, Beijing Tongrentang’s first Chinese medicine store in Switzerland opened in Geneva. The store provides services such as acupuncture, massage, cupping, ear acupuncture and other Chinese medicine treatment and health care, which is highly concerned by local citizens and Chinese and foreign tourists. At present, Tongrentang has opened more than 130 stores in 26 countries and regions around the world.
- In 2016, St. Petersburg Chinese Medicine Hospital opened in Russia. In the past more than a year, the Chinese medicine hospital has used acupuncture to treat more than 3,000 patients and more than 80 kinds of diseases. It has cured some diseases that Western medicine can't reach and has gained a good reputation in the local area.
Chinese medicine "goes out", the pace is accelerated, and the results are constant. However, it is inseparable from the "self-improvement" of traditional Chinese medicine to let the Chinese medicine fragrance "flowering inside the wall" drift overseas.
Yang Rongchen, deputy director of the Policy, Regulations and Supervision Department of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said, "We must not only standardize Chinese medicine, but also become the maker of Chinese medicine standards, in order to firmly grasp the initiative of the development of Chinese medicine."
Experts pointed out that Chinese medicine needs to strengthen quality control, improve relevant standards, and further study relevant scientific mechanisms and mechanisms. Speaking "Chinese Stories" in TCM language, promoting the internationalization standard of TCM in foreign countries, and creating a "healthy destiny community" through traditional medicine, is a new requirement for the development of Chinese medicine
