Chinese medicine service capacity has increased significantly

By the end of the period, there were 68 public Chinese medicine hospitals above the county level, including 9 third-level hospitals, and 82.5% of county (city) Chinese medicine hospitals reached Grade II. 92.5% of counties (cities) have Chinese medicine hospitals, 95% of community health service centers, 90% of township health centers, 79% of community health service stations, and 65% of village clinics can provide Chinese medicine services. The status of Chinese medicine industry is prominent

During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the Jilin Provincial Government will strive to build the fourth pillar industry - the pharmaceutical health industry, placing the development of the Chinese medicine industry at an important position.

 

As of 2014, the total industrial output value of 221 Chinese medicine enterprises above designated size increased by 2.5 times compared with the end of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”. It accounted for 79.8% and 16.7% of the province's total pharmaceutical and national Chinese medicines, respectively, and its business income ranked first in the country for more than ten consecutive years. The provincial “Double Ten Project” focused on the pharmaceutical sector, supporting 30 Chinese medicine projects, accounting for 30.6% of the “Double Ten Project” project, and supporting the development of 97 large varieties such as Anshen Bunao Liquid.

 

Chinese medicine resources protection and development capabilities are more mature

The Jilin Provincial Government attaches great importance to the protection, development and utilization of Chinese herbal medicines. In 2012, it launched the pilot survey of the national traditional Chinese medicine resources in Jilin Province.

 

After three years of pilot census, the data of 130 national key medicinal materials, 1300 common medicinal plant resources and some traditional medicinal plant knowledge were preliminarily grasped, and six suspected new species were found. One dynamic monitoring of Chinese medicinal materials was completed. Information and services provincial center and two monitoring station construction tasks.

 

Chinese medicine inherits innovation ability and further deepens

During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Jilin Province built five provincial training bases for standardized training of Chinese medicine resident and two national training bases; Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yanbian University were identified as the National Excellent Doctors (Chinese Medicine) Education Training Program Reform Pilot colleges. At the same time, 14 key disciplines of traditional Chinese medicine of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine were added, and 38 key disciplines of provincial-level Chinese medicine were established. The province also selected 30 "third batch of famous Chinese medicine practitioners" in Jilin Province; built 33 national and provincial famous Chinese medicine experts to inherit the studio; built the first batch of Chinese traditional medicine genre inheritance studios; 2 established 6 National level grassroots old Chinese medicine studio. The province has also implemented nearly 300 national and provincial Chinese medicine continuing education and training programs, and trained more than 60,000 Chinese medicine professionals.
