Promote the leap-forward development of informationization of Chinese medicine
On July 29th, the 3rd China Traditional Medicine and Medicine Information Conference was held in Erdos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Yan Shujiang, deputy director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, attended the opening ceremony and proposed to promote the leap-forward development of informationization of Chinese medicine during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.
Yan Shujiang said that it is necessary to profoundly understand the new situation and new requirements facing the informatization of Chinese medicine. He pointed out that the state attaches great importance to informationization, and informationization of Chinese medicine is not only an important part of the development of Chinese medicine, but also an important part of national informationization. Internet medical services are booming and promoting the diversification of Chinese medical service models. Health and medical big data accelerate the application and promote the innovation and development of Chinese medicine health services.
The State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine has basically completed the "13th Five-Year" Chinese Medicine Informatization Construction and Development Plan, and the thinking and tasks of TCM informationization in the new era have been initially clear. The state attaches great importance to the informationization of Chinese medicine. Since last year, the central government has invested more than 500 million yuan in special funds to support the construction of information technology for Chinese medicine. The national and provincial Chinese medicine information platform, the Chinese medicine information standard, and the Chinese medicine information system were launched and took shape. Social forces took the initiative to explore and promote the market-oriented development of Chinese medicine health information such as smart pharmacies, smart clinics, and Chinese medicine e-commerce.
Yan Shujiang called on the participants to work together to promote the leap-forward development of Chinese medicine informationization during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. Accelerate the construction of information platform for Chinese medicine, establish a national Chinese medicine data center, and 31 provincial-level Chinese medicine data centers nationwide. Coordinate the construction of TCM information systems, develop and construct a batch of TCM application information systems, and strengthen data collection, integration and sharing and business collaboration. We will further promote the development of Chinese medicine health big data applications, accelerate the construction and improvement of the basic database with TCM electronic medical records and electronic prescriptions as the core, encourage all kinds of TCM medical institutions to promote the collection and storage of TCM medical data, and open up data resource sharing channels. Cultivate and strengthen a group of Chinese medicine information institutions and strategic emerging enterprises, and establish a Chinese medicine information standard system that conforms to the characteristics and laws of traditional Chinese medicine.
Wu Gang, President of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Information, Wu Lan, Director of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Mongolian Medicine Administration, Academician Shi Xuemin and Tang Zuxuan attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The China Association of Chinese Medicine Information Research Association announced the establishment of 14 branches including the old and traditional Chinese medicine fire-fighting heritage branch. The conference was hosted by the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Information Research, the Mongolian Medicine Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the Ordos Municipal Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. More than 1,500 experts and scholars from the Chinese medicine, ethnic medicine and information circles attended the conference.
